Looking at the schedule of events for our reunion. Noticed we were marked as going on the evening cruise, on the Aquastar. We will not be able to attend that event. Sorry we will miss the cruise. Tom and Norma (Selby) Snider

That’s a fair criticism, Nancy.

On behalf of the committee, please accept our apology.

We’ve been talking about it in our Facebook group since May, but, honestly, the interest was weak. When we hit on the idea of something more ‘casual’, that’s when we decided to go ahead. We felt that a series of informal events, including having people create events wherever they may be (e.g., an event in Florida for people who can’t come to Michigan), made the most sense.

We’ll try to provide more notice in the future.

I am very disturbed. I just received a notice of a high school reunion on August 2-8 2021. That is 13 days from now. Now maybe that is enough notice for those that live in the Mona Shores district, but those of us who ventured out into the world, would have appreciated a little more notice … like a few months more notice!! I certainly cannot get plane reservations from Florida now, let alone a rental car! It would have been nice to combine the reunion with other things that are going on in Michigan in my life, but given the short notice that is impossible. I realize coordinating the reunion is done on a volunteer basis, but still, if we are going to have a reunion, let’s try to allow the inclusion of all the class, not just the ones that live in the neighborhood of the school. Unfortunately, after attending for the previous several reunions, I will be unable to attend. Nancy Keidel

Charley Roberts, Nancy (Lavendar) Keitel, Jim Lupien, and I had a great golf outing (well, the golf wasn’t that great, but the company was). We actually discovered Steve Anderson and Coach Dan Hamilton were playing in the group ahead of us!! We also ran into Joe Allard in the parking lot after we finished!! It was a fantastic day, the weather was perfect and the company was first class!! Charley has photos he will post. Thanks, Charley, for setting this up!!
